Help Shape the Centennial Mural
The Runnemede Centennial Mural is being developed through a structured, public process led by the Borough of Runnemede, in partnership with the Runnemede Chamber of Commerce and Reimagine Runnemede.
The project began with an open Request for Qualifications, inviting professional muralists to submit their credentials and past work. A selection committee reviewed submissions and identified two finalists based on artistic quality, experience, and ability to execute a project of this scale.
These finalists have now been invited to develop original design proposals. During this design phase, community input plays an important role in helping shape the narrative and direction of the mural.
Share Your Story.
As the artists begin developing their concepts, we’re inviting the community to help inform the story.
Do you have historic photos of Runnemede?
Do you have a story, memory, or moment that captures what this town means to you?
We welcome your contributions.
Email us at [email protected] to submit images, share stories, and highlight people, places, or events that you believe should be considered. These materials will be shared directly with the finalist artists as part of their research and design process. Please put MURAL in the subject line.
Please note that while not all submissions can be incorporated into the final mural, every contribution helps shape a more authentic and inclusive representation of Runnemede’s 100-year story.
