Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Reimagine Runnemede, we are committed to making our programs, events, and digital spaces accessible to everyone. We believe in fostering a welcoming environment that celebrates inclusivity and ensures equitable access for individuals of all abilities.
Website Accessibility
Our website is designed with accessibility in mind, adhering to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies. We aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and our team actively works to enhance digital accessibility by:

• Utilizing high-contrast text and plain language for easy readability
• Providing alternative text descriptions for images
• Including captions and transcripts for multimedia content
• Structuring pages with clear navigation to support screen reader use

Program and Event Accessibility
Reimagine Runnemede strives to make all programs and events as inclusive as possible. Our accessibility efforts include:

• Wheelchair-accessible pathways and seating at outdoor events
• Providing ASL interpretation upon request
• Offering sensory-friendly spaces with noise-canceling headphones and calm zones for larger events
• Providing adaptive tools and techniques for art activities to support diverse mobility and sensory needs
