The Labyrinth is a community project  dedicated to change the way we think about our town.  We request that you participate in our 2020-21 Fund Raising Drive for the purpose of completing our Peace Park Labyrinth for our residents and visitors, which is located in our Beaver Brook Park near the basketball courts.

What is a Labyrinth?

What is a Labyrinth?

The Labyrinth is your Place of Peace in An Unpeaceful World and a spiritual gathering place open to all faiths.  Here you will find Peace and Quiet, Tranquility, inspiration, a quiet place of meditation, and reflection away from the cares of the world.

It is an ancient symbol that represents wholeness.
Consider the approach to the Labyrinth as your life’s journey.
Honor traditional rituals of your religion, beliefs, and faith.

*You can use it with prayer, candles, music, incense, etc.
* It can be used for public gatherings and observances.
*Celebrate Winter and Summer Solstices or Spring and Fall Equinoxes.
*A place of refuge, to center yourself and seek peace.
*Seek healing from the loss of someone close or other losses.
*Deal with life’s transitions, such as: loss of a pet, relationship, job, money, etc.
* Letting go of emotions, bad feelings, negative people, and experiences, etc.
